This article provides a comprehensive guide on creating new customer profiles within Thulo Cloud, allowing you to effectively manage your customer base.
Creating New Customers:
- Access the Customers Menu: Log in to your Thulo Cloud dashboard and navigate to the "Customers" section.
- Click "New Customer": Locate the "New Customer" button on the left side of the screen.
Customer Profile Details:
- Permissions: Define the access level your customer will have within the customer portal (e.g., enabling or disabling the support system).
- Billing & Shipping: Enter billing and shipping information for invoices and estimates.
- Advanced Options:
- Groups: Organize your customers into groups for easier management and reporting.
- Currency: Set the customer's preferred currency for invoices and estimates.
- Language: Choose the language your customer will see within the customer portal (independent of system default).
Additional Considerations:
- Use the "Quick Insert" button on the dashboard for faster customer creation.
- Welcome emails can be sent upon customer creation, configured inย "Setup" -> "Settings" -> "Email Templates" (Clients section).
- System-generated PDFs default to the system language. To use the customer's language, go to "Setup" -> "Settings" -> "Localization" and enable "Output client PDF documents from admin area in client language".
Customer Login:
Once created, your customer can access their account at the link which you can get by navigating to "My Account" -> "Overview"ย where you will find two links. The link without the admin url is the one customer can use to access the login portal.
